How did I get this leopard to pose?  This particular snow leopard is Zoya one of two cubs born at the zoo. Zoya had foot problems and needed physical therapy and so she was held by veterinarians and keepers and encouraged to climb the way she was posing with her paws up on the fence.  She was kind of tame and very friendly for a while, but now she has grown out of that and I am so glad she posed for four works last winter.  Her feet are fine now.  This spring she stopped posing.
