A Delightful Place

Traveling around the zoo, we learned about the animals and their habits. It took a few times for us to locate the red pandas because they were so, so high up in a tree.

I think the red pandas liked to be hidden when they were napping. I made them more obvious than they appeared. Usually they were higher and more out of sight.

This painting shows their camouflage better than the first painting. It shows how people loved to watch the pandas and how the younger panda(on the right) was in constant motion, a blur of orange and black going up the tree. She seemed really to have fun climbing up and down the trees and even swinging on a lower branch to let herself down to the ground.

It was great to see how well the two red pandas got along with each other. It has been a delight to see the red pandas.
