Afternoon Nap

This 18 x 18 inch oil painting should be $1400 Canadian Dollars, but since it is of a warthog, and since it was neither painted on canvas nor canvas panel, but directly onto the frame backing,  I will offer it for the surprisingly low price of, well, 1/2 price. I am thinking of the song from the Lion King, Hakuna Matata.

This piece is written about in my blog on this very website.

This work will stand on its own or hang on a wall, by balancing  the top edge on a nail in the wall. While I was painting it, I did not know that the zoo has two wart hogs, a male and his sister. So, I don't know which one this is! I do know that as soon as the second one appeared, someone in the crowd shouted, "There are two Pumbaas!"
